A Cool Gallery of Vintage Computers

Manufactured by the Nippon Electric Company (NEC, 1960), the drum-based machine was one of the earliest transistorized Japanese computers. It was used for business, scientific and engineering applications.This is just one of the many computers that existed nearly 50 years ago. It’s amazing that just 10 years ago I owned a computer in college that had a 1.2 GB hard drive and it cost over 2 grand.
